Yoga Bella Retreat
Umbria, Italy
SEPTEMBER 18-23, 2027
with Jenny Kaufman & Patti Lupo
🇮🇹 15 Years in Umbria. And We Keep Coming Back.🍷
For 15 years, we’ve been gathering in the hills of Umbria for this retreat, and somehow, each year feels both familiar and completely new. We come back for the tranquility. The incredible food. The ease of being here. The warmth of the people. The beauty and culture that surround us. And for that unmistakable feeling that life can move a little more slowly.
This is your invitation.
Whether you are a seasoned yogi or stepping onto the mat for the very first time, this experience is for you. All ages, all levels, and all people are welcome. We believe in creating a space where everyone can feel at ease, inspired, and deeply cared for.
Expect daily yoga and movement practices that meet you exactly where you are, delicious local meals, and time to explore nearby villages or simply rest by the pool. The retreat center, often described as “heaven on earth,” embraces a lifestyle rooted in balance, simplicity, and connection to nature, to each other, and to yourself.
For five soul-nourishing days, we will be hosted by our dear friends at Locanda della Quercia Calante, a serene eco-resort nestled in the heart of Umbria located halfway between Rome and Florence.
Known as the “Green Heart of Italy,” Umbria is a region rich with rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards, and ancient towns that invite you to slow down and savor life.
Highlights:
Accommodation in a beautifully serene eco-lodge
Delicious meals with fresh, organic ingredients
Daily yoga, core strength and meditation practices

Day trips to two hillside towns – Orvieto and Civita

To reserve your spot on the retreat, a non-refundable deposit of $750 is required at the time of registration. We are happy to arrange a payment plan for the remaining balance. However, full payment is due no later than Monday, June 7, 2027.
-
We understand that plans can change. Because our retreat requires us to make financial commitments well in advance, the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellations made on or before June 7, 2027: You will receive a refund of any payments made, minus your $750 nonrefundable deposit.
Cancellations made after June 7, 2027:
Payments are nonrefundable unless we can fill your spot on the retreat. This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, personal emergencies, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.Transferring your reservation: Should you wish to transfer your reservation to another person, you may transfer your spot, deposit, and any payments already made to the new participant. A $500 administrative transfer fee will apply to all reservation transfers.
-
Because life and travel can be unpredictable, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance as soon as you register for the retreat.
We recommend choosing a policy that includes:
Trip cancellation and interruption
Medical and emergency coverage
Baggage protection
Travel delays and disruptions
Emergency assistance
Travel insurance is the best way to protect your retreat investment and travel with greater peace of mind. It also helps take the pressure off both of us should something unexpected happen, and you need to cancel. It truly breaks my heart when circumstances arise and we are unable to issue refunds due to commitments and expenses already incurred on your behalf. Having the right travel insurance in place helps protect you financially while allowing me to honor the retreat’s cancellation policy.
“I took my first ever class with Jenny in Italy several years ago. A friend had told me about a yoga retreat at an organic farm in rural Umbria and even though she herself couldn’t attend that year (we were able to go together the following year) I decided to jump right in. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life and I cannot wait to return. Jenny is a truly incredible teacher, she can sense exactly what is needed and give a class perfectly pitched for the mood and climate. The retreat was so well organized, the setting was exquisite, the food and wine beyond delicious and the excursions so much fun. Most of all the company was delightful, I am still in touch with many of the new friends I made there.”
